OTR Cable Construction started with a simple idea: bring the discipline, work ethic, and accountability of military service to the cable construction industry. Our founder saw too many projects run by people who'd never climbed a pole, never pulled cable in 100-degree heat, and never had to make a splice hold up through a Texas storm.
So we built a company where the people running the jobs are the same people who've done the work. We started with aerial construction — coax and fiber on utility poles — and grew into a full-service low voltage contractor covering everything from structured cabling to security systems to data centers.
Today, OTR Cable serves telecom providers, municipalities, general contractors, and commercial businesses across the region. We're still veteran-owned, still field-first, and still showing up every day to do the work right.
